Marc went on a week long safari with driver and guide, Loma. The safari started in Arusha National Park where they saw many birds and the black and white colobus monkey. In Tarangire National Park they saw many groups of elephants. As Marc was interested in the birdlife of the area, Loma and Marc dedicated a lot of their time here looking for birds.

Next they headed for the big park, the Serengeti! They saw many animals here as well such as lion prides, spotted hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, and lots of birds.

They also visited Lake Eyasi where the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes are from. Here they had the opportunity to also visit a farm and see different species of birds than before as. Last on the safari was Lake Manyara National Park where they spotted flamingoes in Lake Manyara as well as the Blue monkey and many Olive Baboons.
