ROOMS:

  • Monsoon Villas / 2 Honeymoon Suites

are set on the crest of the hill and apart from other guest rooms. Each Villa has three floors with two bedrooms and a private swimming pool surrounded by tropical gardens. The Villas are furnished with traditional Zanzibar furniture and batik linen. Enjoy panoramic views from the roof terrace and star gazing from the open air bath tub or four poster bed. Villas have ceiling fans and are fully air conditioned.

  • 11 Seaview Cottages

are light, spacious en-suite rooms with airy, high beamed ceilings, large windows, ceiling fans and air-conditioning. All have traditionally carved Zanzibari four-poster beds, with mosquito net canopies, beautiful batik bed covers, coconut wood wall mirrors and hand-made teak wood furniture. Some Sea View Cottages have two levels and are ideal for families with young children. All cottages have spacious private verandahs and sitting areas with stunning views of the ocean.

  • 3 Garden Lodges

Three garden lodge rooms also have four-poster Zanzibari beds draped with attractive mosquito nets. Although smaller than cottages, the rooms have ample space for an extra bed to accommodate families or groups of friends. The Garden rooms are all fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. The secluded terraces have comfortably cushioned sofas and look out to the tropical garden and the pool area just a short distance away.

OUR OPINION:

We recommend booking full board, there is not much dining options around. Great place as you can isolate yourself in lodge property or you can stroll down the Kiwengwa beach and see local life and fishermen with dhows.
