The rooms are divided into ten on the first floor and ten on the ground floor. From the ground floor terrace you have easy access to the beach and the swimming pool, while the upstairs rooms have an elevated view from the balcony.

The King size beds are dressed with breathable cotton sheets to ensure the ultimate night's sleep. Due to the spacious rooms, bed configurations can be arranged with twin, triple or quadruple beds. The aesthetics of the rooms concentrate on total relaxation.

For many of our guests, lounging about, lazily sipping cocktails from the bar, a mere 10 metres from the sea, is their idea of the perfect holiday. However, a selection of organised tours, free and paid-for options is also available for the more adventurous.

We created a space for guests to chill out - reading a favourite book or enjoying a cocktail. When you’ve had enough of the sun, this is the ideal spot to put your feet up.

We have 10 first floor and 10 ground floor rooms. Downstairs have their own little garden and upstairs have a private balcony. Rooms are laid out with total relaxation in mind and contain all the creature comforts of home… The King size beds are huge and dressed with breatheable cotton sheets, blankets to give you the ultimate night’s sleep and mosquito netting that is set away from the bed (preventing that claustrophobic feeling). Rooms are airy as a result of the effortless decor and plenty of natural light.

Short Overview

Established in 2006 as Michamvi Watersports, the resort has since been revamped and renamed as Michamvi Sunset Bay Resort. It is now owner managed and has been since January 2011. Due to the intimate size of only 20 luxurious rooms, Michamvi Sunset Bay Resort has a relaxed atmosphere. Unwind on our powder white sands in the bay (with no disturbance form beach boys) and enjoy a cocktail while watching the magnificent sunset. There is no task is too great for our staff, ensuring you always receive personal service.
