Details of Kendwa Rocks Hotel

Kendwa rocks is located on the north coast of Zanzibar, 55 kilometres from Stone Town and just a few kilometres south of Nungwi village.

ROOMS:

The choice of accomodation is ample: you can choose a spacious suite or family room, coral stone or palmwood bungalow or just a simple palmwood banda. The rooms are surrounded by coconut trees and lush tropical gardens.

NORTH & SOUTH WING

Sstand on the higher coral rock formation and their spacious verandas command views over the beach towards the Island of Tumbatu. T

The AFRICA WING is attached behind the SOUTH WING and has nice garden view.


SUITES are our largest rooms, luxury for two (for instance. honeymooners) good for a family.
UPSTAIRS ROOMS are also good for honeymooners and the big verandas command wonderful views over the whole site.

AFRICA ROOMS - GARDENVIEW These three rooms are overlooking the upper garden w/ a small fountain at the centre. There are 3 new rooms w/ fans built on the second floor of Africa wing.

CORAL STONE BUNGALOWSare surrounded by the lush, exotic gardens. They re furnished with authentique Zanzibari antiques and decorated mosquito nets. The bungalows are named after the Southern African countries.
All rooms (except Namibia/Angola) stand alone with a private veranda. All have air-conditioning and hot water.

COCONUT WOOD BUNGALOWS are situated right on the white sand. The wooden interior creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. All have wonderful sea views, AC and hot water.

FOREST BUNGALOWS
are the last release in Kendwa Rocks wooden bungalows, 3 private with ensuite batroom. The wooden interior creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. All have wonderful sea views, AC and hot water.

BANDAS are built with palmwood and palmleaves and are equipped with mosquito nets and fans. Shared bathroom facilities.
