The Suberb Starling Bird can  be found in East Africa, including EthiopiaSomaliaUgandaKenya, and Tanzania.It is very similar to Hildebrandt's starling, which is also found in East Africa, though superb starling has cream-colored eyes instead of red like Hildebrandt's

This bird feeds primarily on the ground or on acacia trees. It prefers varied species of insects, but it also takes berries and fruits, and nectar for some plants. Both adults are similar.They have glossy blue-green upperparts, with darker blue tinge on the nape.

Upperwing is rather glossy metallic green, with black spots on the coverts’ tips. The tail is relatively short and glossy blue-green. 

Head is bronzy-black on crown and ear-coverts.
