Named for the four large pools that were carved out of the stone by the Zambezi River, the park is home to Zimbabwe’s largest populations of hippopotamus and crocodiles. Visitors can also expect to see elephants, buffalo, leopards, lions, antelopes, wild dogs, hyenas, and even the endangered black rhinoceros.
Mana Pools is popular also for its canoe and walking safaris, offering visitors the chance to get up close with some of Africa’s most famous residents.
