Details of Addis Ababa

Named after the flowers of the mimosa tree by Empress Taitu, Addis Ababa is the diplomatic capital of Africa. Home to more than 120 foreign embassies and diplomatic missions, Addis Ababa is also the headquarters of the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.

The city is a cosmopolitan metropolis that is home to many museums, places of worship, and restaurants.
