Nyerere National Park is home to more than 120,000 buffalo, 40,000 hippos, 35,000 zebras, and 4,000 lions. With this group safari, you will make use of the daily flights to the national Park. DAY - ZANZIBAR - SELOUS/NYERERE NATIONAL PARK - ZANZIBAR
You will be met at your hotel in Zanzibar and taken to the airport for your flight to Selous. Your flight will depart in the morning and within an hour you will touch down right in the heart of Nyerere National Park - formally know as Selous National Park. The flight will roughly take one hour.
Upon arrival at Stieglers Airstrip, you will be met by your guide and proceed with a packed lunch for a full day game drive. Your day will be filled with exploring the park’s wildlife. You can expect to see many African mammals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebra, and if you are especially lucky: the rare African wild dog.
After a day filled with adventure, you will return to the airstrip and board your flight back to Zanzibar. At the airport, you will be met by our driver who will take you back to your hotel.
