Details of Lilac-Breasted Roller (Coracias caudatus)

 There are two subspecies of Coracias caudatus, the true lilac-breasted roller (C. caudatus caudatus), and the lilac-throated roller (C. caudatus lorti).Both of them live in grassland habitats that border trees and shrubs and are found throughout southern and eastern Africa.

 The diet of the lilac-breasted roller is primarily insectivorous. Lilac-breasted Roller is a National Bird of Kenya.

These birds are not  sexually dimorphic.
