Ideally located between Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park is both the largest and most accessible of Zimbabwe’s National Parks. One of the ten largest parks in all of Africa, Hwange is home to more than 400 species of bird and over one hundred species of animal including lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and much more.

The park is especially famous for its elephant population, with more than 40,000 of the massive mammals calling the vast (14,651 square kilometre) park home.
