Podrobno o Ruaha & Mikumi Drive In - Fly Out Safari
DAY 1 - DAR ES SALAAM - MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you'll make the drive to the Mikumi National Park. Sometimes called the most accessible corner of Selous and sometimes compared favourably to the open plains of the Serengeti, Mikumi is Tanzania's fourth largest national park and a game-viewer's dream.
The Mkata Floodplain is the park's most dominant feature, and it is here that antelope fans will have their best chance to see the powerful Eland in large numbers. Bird watchers will also find a huge variety of feathered favourites within the park, with more than 400 bird species residing within the park's borders.
DAY 2 - MIKUMI - RUAHA
After breakfast, you'll make the trip to Ruaha.
A forested park with rolling hills and a hot, dry climate that means animals tend to stick close to the water sources. This makes for fantastic game viewing opportunities, and the park’s isolation means it is considerably less crowded.
DAY 3: RUAHA
Ruaha’s position as a middle ground between traditional savannah and woodlands means that it provides unique game-viewing conditions.
During your day-long explorations of the park, you’ll see everything from traditional game such as buffalo, zebra, lions, and elephants to less common sights such as the Kudu, African Wild Dog, and sable antelope.
DAY 4 - RUAHA - DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast, you'll enjoy one last game drive through Ruaha's dusty hills before boarding your flight back to Dar Es Salaam.
