One of the largest man-made lakes in the world, Lake Kariba straddles the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and boasts a shoreline that is more than 2,000 kilometers in length.
Created in the 1950s in order to established a hydro-electric plant, Lake Kariba is today a popular tourist attraction due to its idyllic surrounds, fantastic fishing, floating hotels, and array of water sports.
