Our Transfer Driver: Assad

Born in the city of Arusha, the heart of nature tourism in Tanzania, and a professional safari guide for 3 years, Assad is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and kind hearted.

Assad has his clients’ best interests at heart, and he knows how to take care of people in his part of the world. He knows exactly what people need when visiting Tanzania, and knows how to make sure everything goes smoothly and that you have a comfortable trip.

Assad’s favorite Tanzanian food: rice and fish, Tanzania style!

His favorite spot to take travelers is not far from his home city. He never tires of seeing the majestic Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic crater, teeming with diverse and thriving wildlife.

Among all of the many beautiful animals of Tanzania’s parks, his favorite animal to spot on safari is the charming leopard.

Assad’s favorite holiday: Eid festival.

"Assad was our first contact in Tanzania. He held up a sign for us at the airport and delivered us to our first hotel. He was creative (played Rains Down in Africa when it rained!) and took great care of us."

Assad speaks fluent English and Swahili, and he loves comedy. With his Arushan sense of humor, you are sure to have more than a few laughs on your adventures with Assad.

He is creative and loves to dance and party with friends to unwind after the thrill and excitement of his nature adventures around Tanzania.
