The Wild Coast
Podrobno o The Wild Coast
Located on the northern coastline of the East Cape, the Wild Coast is a haven for off-roaders, hikers, horse-riders, snorkelers, and scuba divers. Its windswept and less populated coastline is like something out of fiction - a true wilderness ready to be explored.
The area's hiking and 4x4 trails can be enjoy on foot, in a car, or on horseback, with untamed forests and jagged cliffs offering some truly spectacular scenery.
Out in the water, fishing enthusiasts can indulge their passion through fly fishing, deep sea fishing, spear fishing, and more. Beneath the waves, snorkelers and scuba divers will find the waters teaming with life, and the rugged coastline's history as a shipwreck site makes it an excellent place for wreck diving as well.
As its name might suggest, the Wild Coast is one of South Africa’s last true wildernesses - an undeveloped stretch of stunningly beautiful coastline packed with soaring cliffs, lonely beaches, and rolling hills.
Visitors to the region will find it is abundant with hiking and 4x4 trails, and also lends itself well to horse riding.
