Whether a bird lover, predator fan, or grazers admirer, Amboseli National park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro won’t let you short of awe!
Amboseli is considered Kenya‘s biosphere reserve. The name Amboseli in Maa (Masai language) means place of water, and it reveals its true nature. In its swamps live massive herds of elephants and are likely to pose a show for you. Much other wildlife will reveal themselves - observe hippos, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, wildebeest, and gazelles. Not to forget all the predators lurking around - lions, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas are likely to be seen. And more than 350 bird species, among them flamingoes, cormorants, storks, and ostriches. A full package, so to say. And with us achievable in only one day.

DAY 1 - NAIROBI - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - NAIROBI
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Nairobi early in the morning, at around 6 am. In the comfort of our vehicle, you will drive for about four hours. Be sure to keep your eyes open, although the drive can lull you to sleep. You’ll be passing through picturesque indigenous villages dotting the Athi plains, and there’s quite a chance to spot some unexpected wildlife on the way.
Around 10 am, enter the park’s gates and start immediately with a game drive.
Surely elephants will impress you - their playing, bathing, caring for each other, feeding, and just being - it is a guaranteed lifetime memory!
Lions, cheetahs, and other predators praying in a stakeout while unsuspecting peaceful herbivores graze in the immediate vicinity could catch their dinner just in front of you. Countless birds above and around, flamingoes, ostriches, and hippos just there - what a treat! There’s so much to see, and you are likely to see it all!
All the admiring will surely make you hungry - a delicious lunch will be served at the observation point. Well-fed, we’ll go on with the game drive, exiting the park at around 3 pm, just right to bring you back to your hotel on time for dinner.
