Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Podrobno o Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Uganda's answer to the more famous Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park shares an ecosystem with the neighbouring park.
With gorilla trekking permits slightly cheaper than in Rwanda, Uganda is fast becoming a popular alternative to the more developed nation. In addition to the mountain gorillas, another eleven species of primate call the park home and can be seen. The park is also home to forest elephants.
Another huge draw of the park is its superb bird-watching, with more than 350 species of bird available including 14 that can only be seen in Uganda.
Mist-shrouded and undeniably beautiful, Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the nation's answer to Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. Home to the enigmatic Mountain Gorilla, Bwindi Impenetrable is one of Africa's most beautiful parks and a haven for gorilla trekking.
