Details of Serval (Felis serval)

Slender and long legged and spotted predator of the cat family, with a small head and ears pointing upwards. Overall colour ranges from off white to yellowish fawn. Numerous black spots and bars scattered over body, with those down center of back forming  more or less straight lines.

It is a solitary animal sightings of pairs and family groups not unusual.

They are agile climbers. Males territorial as may be females. Usually drop litters during summer rains 1-3.
