Details of Serengeti Savannah Camps Seronera

  • An intimate safari camp discreetly hidden in the Serengeti plains
  • Intense wildlife sightings in and around the camp thanks to Serengeti’s wildebeest migration
  • Tranquility for outdoor lovers
  • The thrill of big game at close range
  • Enjoy a full- or half-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park to ensure the best nature experience.

It is located at central Serengeti and northern Seronera from June to November, then in the Ndutu area at northern Ngorongoro from December to March. It is perfect for the one who wants to catch The Great Wildebeest Migration.

All  tents are custom made walk in tents using heavy duty canvas ensure a spacious ‘room’ complete with en-suite bathrooms. Tents are tastefully appointed with twin or double beds, crisp linen, warm blankets or duvets, bedside tables, wardrobes and luggage racks make your tent a true ‘home away from home’. Lighting is provided by solar power and your bathroom comes complete with a dressing table with fully plumbed washbasin, lavatory and showers – a new, and often surprising, interpretation of ‘camping’. Hot water is available throughout the day and evening and, like your laundry, morning tea or in fact your every need will be arranged by your Butler allowing for a refreshing wash, shower or maybe a shave on the verandah of your tent.

The spacious verandah in front of your room is furnished with comfortable safari chairs and tables – the perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching a weaver bird building its nest in a nearby Acacia tree, a herd of impala grazing quietly only meters away, or simply relaxing and listening to the sounds of the African bush.

The Seronera is located in the Serengeti plains, easily accessed via the Seronera airstrip. It is located in a small settlement within the Serengeti National Park. Little can be said that has not been said before about the Serengeti. The wildlife and scenery cannot fail to astound even the most hardened traveler. The National Park covers almost 15,OOO km2, while the whole ecosystem which includes the Ngorongoro and Masai Mara, is more than double the size.

Following the Seronera River you may have the opportunity to see leopard, lion, cheetah, giraffe, hippo, buffalo and elephants alongside thousands of wildebeest, zebra, Thomson gazelle, hartebeest and impala.
