Twyfelfontein

One of Namibia's two World Heritage sites, Twyfelfontein is a stunning open-air gallery of ancient artwork carved into the red rocks by the region's Bushmen residents approximately 6000 years ago.

These ancient carvings give visitors the opportunity to see early artistic interpretations of some of Africa's most well-known animals, as well as offering some insight into what life might have been like for Namibia's native people in the time 4000 years before Christ.
