DAY 1 - NAIROBI - LAKE BOGORIA - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Departing from Nairobi after breakfast, you'll make the five-hour drive across to Lake Bogoria.
The new home of Kenya's famous flamingo flocks, Lake Bogoria is a volcanically active national reserve where the massive flock of both lesser and greater flamingoes can now be found.
While not a game drive park in its own right, Lake Bogoria is home to a huge variety of birdlife as well as greater kudus, zebras, cheetahs, buffaloes, hyenas, impalas, and baboons.
After a hot lunch at Lake Bogoria resort, you'll drive to Lake Nakuru for an overnight.
DAY 2 - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK - NAIROBI
After breakfast, you'll begin your exploration of Lake Nakuru National Park.
Although the flamingoes have moved on, the park is still home to four of the Big five (you won't see elephants here) as well as to a huge variety of birdlife. Your half-day game drive in the park will showcase some of Kenya's most beautiful terrain while you spot large herds of buffaloes, families of baboons, both black and white rhinoceroses, and even lazy lions and leopards.
After snapping some photos, you'll return to Nairobi by mid-afternoon.
