Details of Matemwe Beach Village

At Matemwe Beach we have guests and not clients, they relax; make themselves at home amongst our books, games and huge cushions. They make great friends with the staff and the other guests. Our aim is a simple one: to provide authentic, stylish and comfortable accommodation, in an atmosphere of relaxed hospitality and friendliness, while services are provided effectively and efficiently. We live in peaceful co-existence with the villagers who conduct their lives amongst us.

  • Kajiji Rooms

Simple rooms furnished in beach style with shades of neutrals, blues and green. These rooms have self-contained bathrooms and lots of little extras to make the stay more comfortable. Some rooms have seaviews and some not. These rooms are grouped in twos and threes and are perfect for those wanting a great place to stay, but wish to spend their money on safari, diving and so on.

  •  Shamba Suites

Funky and romantic, spacious and stylish the five Shamba Suites offer a couple or small family space to relax and enjoy themselves Matemwe Beach style. In the Shamba Suites you can literally swing from the rafters and you will feel like a king on our throne! Designed by the same team that created the Asali Suite.

  • Asali Suite

The ultimate romantic choice – usually booked by honeymooners or those wanting to celebrate their love this suite is completely self-contained: your own chef, plunge pool, indoor and outdoor shower and beach ensure you never have to leave your indulgent seclusion.
