Kilimanjaro Day Tour, Biking, and Lions!
We can help you arrange extra activities before, during, or after your safari such as biking, hiking, climbing, canoeing and more!Making the most of Safari - Prep for a whole day out!
Driver and guide, Bashiri took Sean and Jennifer on safari through Tarangire, Central and North Serengeti and Ngorongoro. There is so much to see along these routes. With no time to lose, we always recommend taking a packed lunch with you on safari so as to not waste precious safari time going back to your accommodation to eat. We can organise your lunchbox around specific dietary requirements as well, as was the case with Jennifer who informed us that she needed lactose free lunches.
Just some of what they saw:
- In Tarangire, they saw local migrations, and a lion hunting a wildebeest
- In Central Serengeti they saw leopards, lions, buffalos and elephants. One of the lions that they saw chased and captured a hartebeest
- In North Serengeti they witnessed the great migration pass the famous Mara River!
Bashir sent us some of the photos that he took along the way! Here they are below:

3 Day Safari - with lots of animals!
Dor and her boyfriend from Israel just got back from a great safari yesterday with driver Andrew.
Their itinerary included Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. They saw many animals throughout their safari including Big 5. There was fantastic lion viewing from one of the many waterholes where they saw 2 lionesses (pictured below) with their 6 cubs, they even saw one of the female lions successfully hunt a wildebeest.
Yesterday in Tarangire National Park, they saw many majestic elephants (also pictured below). Tarangire really is one of the best places to go if you want to see Ele's!
Everything You Need to Know About Tarangire National Park
Often described as Tanzania's most underrated national park, Tarangire is one of Africa's little-known gems and a must for any northern circuit itinerary.Boasting a variety of wildlife as diverse as its landscape, Tarangire is also the park that can boast being home to Tanzania's largest population of African elephants. With four of the Big Five also residing within the park, it is a great spot for a day trip from Arusha or as an addition to a Serengeti/Ngorongoro centreed itinerary.Named for the Tarangire River which flows through it, the park is an excellent choice during the dry season when animals are forced to move closer and closer to the river in search of water. Set against a backdrop of majestic baobab trees and twisted acacia, it makes for a beautiful experience.Items 10 to 15 of 15 total
