A hot air balloon safari can be made to fit in with any safari itinerary that features the Serengeti or Maasai Mara.

Balloon Safari

Rising up to an altitude of 1000 ft

Rising bright and early, you'll make your way to the designated launch site before the sun has even crested the horizon. While your brightly colored hot air balloon is being inflated, your captain will brief you on safety practices as well as giving you some idea as to what you can expect to see from your lofty perch.

Rising up to an altitude of 1000 ft, your hot air balloon safari will provide you with a uniquely mobile platform from which to observe the movements of the Wildebeest Migration and the other inhabitants of the park.

Greatest panoramic views and sights of animals

A hot air balloon offers panoramic views of the awe-inspiring landscape and a glimpse at some of the nocturnal and crepuscular animals that call the plains home.

Wildlife you can potentially spot from above include cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, hippo, hyenas, vultures, eagles, wildebeest, zebras, baboons, warthogs, monkeys, giraffe, and more.

A romantic breakfast

Once your magical hour above the plains is complete, you'll touch down out in the wilderness for a delicious champagne breakfast. There are few more surreal ways to start your day than with a fine meal surrounded by the acacia and tall grass of the Serenget-Mara plains.
